Giving Back to our Community

KITCHEN RESCUE
Big-hearted citizens are making renovations a reality

Renovations to the kitchen at our Residential Facility just got a huge step closer, thanks to the generosity of two local organizations.

With the help of Wright Auto Sales and 100 Men Who Give a Damn, we hope to raise the $15,000 needed to rejuvenate the tired room. And there are two simple ways you can help push us over the top.

Cars and caring

The folks at Wright Auto Sales are long-time supporters of Ray of Hope. They are one of our regular meal teams, cooking and serving supper at the Community Center on the first Thursday of every month. Owner Larry Wright is a frequent golfer in the Ray of Hope Classic. And he’s particularly interested in Ray of Hope’s youth programs.

So, as part of the month-long Grand Opening celebrations for the newest Wright Auto Sales location, Larry decided to add a fund-raising component.

Each Saturday in August from 1 to 3 pm, Wright Auto Sales will host a barbecue at each of its three locations – Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. In addition, you can get a free oil change any time in August with a donation to Ray of Hope. All proceeds will go toward the kitchen renovation project.
